‘I can’t think of anybody else off the top of my head, who came in here and was scarier than Francis’ – Dana White at the UFC 260 press conference
Francis Ngannou’s punch is equivalent to being hit by a Ford Escort at full speed.
Stipe Miocic vs Francis Ngannou is just around the corner. The two giants face off in a title rematch at UFC 260, after Stipe won the first one via. unanimous decision at UFC 220. Francis Ngannou who got gassed out the last time they met, will be looking to put on an improved show in terms of cardio and wrestling. As for Stipe, he would be backing his experience and diverse skillset to see off the Cameroonian.
At the UFC 260 press conference UFC President Dana White was asked if he thought Francis has got the best or if there were other guys ahead of him. The boss was quick to point out that Francis is the scariest fighter he has ever seen, and was definitely at the top of his mind.

White was quoted as saying, “I mean off the top of my head I don’t know but when you think about scary guys that hit hard and take your head off Francis is definitely top of my mind. I can’t think of anybody else off the top of my head, who came in here and was scarier than Francis.“
Since UFC 220, Stipe has faced just one opponent – Daniel Cormier. The pair met in a trilogy bout, with Daniel Cormier winning the first one, before Stipe Miocic came back stronger and clinched the next two. Francis Ngannou, on the other hand faced Derrick Lewis after UFC 220, and was met with the same fate ( a unanimous decision loss). But after that, there was no looking back, as he completely dilapidated and demolished the next four opponents via first round KO! No wonder, Dana and the MMA world are in awe of this man.
