Dana White Warns of the Only Weather Threat That Could Pause UFC’s White House Event

Dana White recently appeared on Adin Ross’ livestream. During the sitdown, White revealed the one reason that could force the UFC Freedom 250 fights to be temporarily halted.

The promotion is set to arrive on the South Lawn of the White House on June 14. This once-in-a-lifetime card consists of a total of 6 bouts, of which two are title fights.

Dana White says UFC Freedom 250 will continue even if it rains or snows

During the aforementioned sitdown with Adin Ross, Dana White opined that the White House event will take place on the South Lawn under the open sky, and even if it rains or snows, the fights will go on.

However, if lightning strikes, the action will have to pause until it is safe for the fighters to resume. He said:

“If it rains, we are fighting. If it fu*king snows, we are fighting. Nothing will stop the show. Lightning is the only thing [that can stop the show]. And what we would have to do is we will have to wait for the Lightning out and then do the fighting.”
