Rivalries are a part of life, and likewise, they transcend into sports as well. The UFC is home to some of the sports’ hottest rivalries, notably – Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor, Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen, Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier, Michael Bisping and Luke Rockhold, and a lot more.
More recently, it looks like two of the rivalries might seemingly come to an end after the respective fighters decided to smoke the peace pipe. First, it was Michael Bisping burying the hatchet, and then it was Jon Jones trying to do the same.

Michael Bisping caught up with his rival Luke Rockhold at RVCA sport Gym, taking to Twitter posting a video captioning it, “Bumped into some old friends down at @rvcasport today.” The pair fought twice, with Rockhold winning via submission in the first match, and Bisping demolishing Rockhold in the rematch and thereby winning the middleweight title.
There was a time during the UFC 199, pre-fight conference Michael Bisping, arguably one of the greatest trash talkers of all time, steam-rolled Luke Rockhold and got into his head even before the match. “Conceive, believe, achieve; Shut the F**k Up!” – Michael famously quipped as Rockhold fumbled for words.

Probably one of the greatest modern day sports rivalries on and off the field – Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier. From a mass brawl at a pre-fight conference to death threats on air, this rivalry has seen it all. However Jon Jones today responded to a fan who wished that he and Daniel Cormier would bury the hatchet someday. Jon tweeted, “What do you say DC, friends? Are you done with the bullshit?”.
